Dr. Tina Kalkstein Joins the SouthPaws Team
SouthPaws has some great news for referring veterinarians and clients
alike: Tina Kalkstein, DVM, MA, DACVIM (Internal Medicine) has joined the
internal medicine and oncology team of Dr. Jim Mcconnell and Dr. Sarah
Sheafor at the Center. Tina brings impressive cutting-edge knowledge from
Michigan State University, internationally renowned for its contributions to
the fields of veterinary endocrinology and nephrology, among many others.

An acknowledged expert in feline nephrology/urology and transfusion
medicine, Dr. Kalkstein looks forward to helping us tackle these and other
challenging medical disorders in cats and dogs fulltime at SouthPaws. Tina
will work closely with Jim and Sarah to continue to provide the high quality,
thorough medicine evaluations and treatments you now expect from SouthPaws.
She is also excited to help us expand our medicine consultation schedule to
six days a week, including Saturdays.

SouthPaws associates are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kalkstein aboard. We
think Tina is a perfect fit for the SouthPaws team. Expect to hear from her
